Title:
HEAT INSULATING BOX BODY FOR REFRIGERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03140780
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the freedom in the arrangement of a hollow heat dissipating member and facilitate integrating work with an outer casing shell by a method wherein a hollow heat dissipating member is retained preliminarily on the inner side surface of the outer casing shell and a hollow box body, made of resin and whose inside is divided into a refrigerating chamber and a cold storage chamber, is formed in the hollow heat dissipating member while the hollow chamber of the hollow box body is filled with heat insulating granular bodies and the inside of the hollow chamber is evacuated.

CONSTITUTION: Hollow heat dissipating members 16 are bonded onto the inner side surface of an outer casing shell 11 by an aluminum tape 17 in a condition that the member 16 is abutted against the shell 11. According to this method, the hollow box body 12 is contacted with the inner side surface of the outer casing shell 11 closely under a condition that the shape of the hollow box body 12 is adapted to the shape of the hollow heat dissipating members 16 whereby the outer casing shell 11, the hollow box body 12 and hollow heat dissipating members 16 between them provide an integrated structure. The hollow box body 12 is filled with the heat insulating granular bodies 15 through an evacuating hole, for example, and, thereafter, the inside of the same is evacuated whereby the heat insulating box body of a refrigerator may be formed.
