PURPOSE: To obtain the subject heat-insulating waterproofing sheet effective for suppressing the lowering of the strength of a foundation caused by the heat of placed hot asphalt by integrally laminating a fiber layer composed of a nonwoven inorganic fiber cloth and a rubber asphalt layer mixed with inorganic powder.
CONSTITUTION: A rubber asphalt layer 12 mixed with inorganic powder and having high melting point is integrally laminated to the upper surface of a fiber layer 11 composed of a nonwoven inorganic fiber cloth. An adhesive is applied to the lower face of the fiber layer to form a lower adhesive layer 14 and a releasing paper is applied to the laminate to obtain the objective heat-insulating waterproofing fiber sheet 10 for lining. The sheet is pasted e.g. to a steel floor plate 1 of a foundation and a goose asphalt 3 is lined on the sheet. The thermal deformation of the steel floor plate, etc., by the heat of the hot goose asphalt is suppressed and durable waterproofing performance is attained by this process.
