Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-melt transfer type ink ribbon which has good transferability of a printed image, suppresses an influence of a background color when performing printing on a colored medium to be printed, and is excellent in visibility and color reproducibility of the printed image.SOLUTION: There is provided a hot-melt transfer type ink ribbon 6 which has at least an ink layer 2 and an overcoat layer 3 sequentially provided on one surface of a heat resistant substrate film 1, and has a heat resistant lubricant layer 4 provided on the other surface of the heat resistant substrate film, where a main component of a binder of the overcoat layer 3 is a modified polyolefin resin, and the overcoat layer contains 50-85 mass% of at least rutile type titanium oxide which is surface-treated with alumina.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
