To restrain refrigerator oil from remaining in a heat exchanger for cooling that cools fluid to be subjected to heat exchange in a heat pump cycle.
A three-way valve 20 is adopted as a refrigerant circuit switching means for switching between a refrigerant circuit in a heating mode to heat blast air, which is the fluid to be subjected to heat exchange, by an indoor condenser 13, and a refrigerant circuit in a cooling mode to cool the blast air by an indoor evaporator 18. In the heating mode, an entire flow of refrigerant that has flowed out of an outdoor heat exchanger 16 is caused to be led to a refrigerant inlet side of an accumulator 19 disposed on a suction port side of a compressor 11. By this arrangement, a small flow of refrigerant is prevented from flowing into the indoor evaporator 18 in the heating mode, and the refrigerator oil is restrained from remaining in the indoor evaporator 18 that functions as a heat exchanger for cooling.
