Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title adhesive having excellent bond strength, comprising an anaerobic polymerizable monomer, a specific maleimide compound, an oxide or a hydroxide or an alcoholate of polyvalent metal or a chelate compound and a radical polymerization initiator as main components.

CONSTITUTION: The objective adhesive comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. anaerobic polymerizable monomer containing one or more (meth)acryloyl group in one molecule such as methyl (meth)acrylate, (B) 1-50 pts.wt, N-(carboxyaryl) maleimide such as N-(3-carboxyphenyl)maleimide, (C) 0.1-20 pts.wt. oxide, hydroxide or alcoholate of polyvalent metal and/or chelate compound and (D) 0.05-10 pts.wt. radical polymerization initiator such as 2,2'azobis(2-methylbutyronitrile) as main components, having extremely low reduction in bond strength at high temperature.
