Title:
HEAT-RESISTANT LABEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010210768
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To further enhance durability upon high-temperature treatment and to prevent a heat-resistant label from being peeled off in the heat resistant label used in industrial fields, such as, machines, electrical and electronic components and food items.

The heat-resistant label 1 has a liquid crystal polyester film 2, formed from a liquid crystal polyester, having ≥250°C flow starting temperature and soluble in a solvent. A bar code 4 is printed on the surface of the liquid crystal polyester film 2. A protective film 5 is layered on the rear surface of the liquid crystal polyester film 2 via an adhesive layer 3 so that the protective film 5 can be peeled. Alignment anisotropy of the liquid crystal polyester itself can be reduced, by forming the liquid crystal polyester film 2 by a solvent casting method. Hence, durability of the liquid crystal polyester film 2 can be, further, enhanced, and peeling of the film can be prevented, even in comparatively high temperature treatment.
