PURPOSE: To provide the titled coating material suitable for use in coating parts sliding in a non-lubricated state, by applying a suspension of a powder mixture obtd. by using a tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer resin as a base and mixing a polyimide resin, ZrO2, etc. therewith, and baking the applied coating.
CONSTITUTION: 70W90wt% fine tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer resin powder is mixed with 30W10wt% fine polyimide resin powder. 5W 15wt% at least one member having a particle size of 0.2W1μ selected from among ZrO2, SiC, Si3N4, Al2O3 and tetrafluoroethylene resin is added to the above fine resin powder mixture. The resulting mixture is dispersed in toluene or methanol. The resulting suspension is applied to the sliding surface of a sliding material and baked at 300W390°C for 15min to form a film.
