Abstract:
To provide a cylinder whose temperature rise of the cylinder itself is curbed against extraneous heat irradiation such as solar insolation (sunlight irradiation) or the like.
Part or the whole of a surface is covered with a heat shield coating film with a solar reflectance of 40% or more, desirably 50% or more. Even in the coating film with a color (gunmetal gray, gray, bistre or the like) easy to absorb light of a color hue (L*value) of 50 to 80, the effectively inhibiting effect of the temperature rise is attained. The coating film includes a heat shield layer formed by applying a heat shield paint thereto, while the heat shield paint is applied in the form of a powder paint.
