Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage tank of a high temperature heat storage device that can be downsized by accelerating heat transfer in a heat storage tank.SOLUTION: In a heat storage material, metal having high heat transfer coefficient such as aluminum and cast iron is made into a block for use. The metal block has an electric heater and a flow passage therein. The metal block is heated with the electric heater to store heat energy, water or the like is supplied to the flow passage according to heat demand, the water is changed into steam or hot water, and then heat energy is taken out. At this moment, a slit is put into the metal block so as to prevent a crack from being generated in the metal block by heat stress due to heating in heat storage and cooling in heat output.
