Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a heat transfer assembly for superconducting magnet assembly, which can stand shocks and vibrations.
CONSTITUTION: Flexible heat transfer assemblies 30 between a cold head sleeve 10 of a low-temperature cooling unit 4 and a heat shield 20 of a magnetic resonance imaging unit respectively comprise a plurality of concentric standed conductor copper ropes 17 and 18 with a circular section. Each of the plurality of the concentric standed conductor copper ropes 17 and 18 comprises a multitude of individual copper wires.
