Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable clean shearing by respectively providing a first temp. regulating zone on a work roll and a second temp. regulating zone on a support roll over specific ranges.
CONSTITUTION: The twist angle of 30° of the grooves 12 on the side of a supply part 9 of rolls 1, 2 is continuously increased to that of 45° of the grooves 12 on the side of the discharge part 10 thereof and the grooves 12 on the rolls 1, 2 are arranged in a mirror image symmetric state. Grooves 12a are provided to the jacket surfaces 4, 5 of the rolls 1, 2 so as to extend in an axial direction at an equal interval. Mutually independently supplied temp. regulating zones T1, T2 are provided to the rolls 1, 2. The temp. regulating zone T1 of the roll 1 is provided over the range 2/3 the total length of the roll 1 from the supply part 9 and the temp. regulating zone T2 is extended to the remaining range 1/3 the total length. The temp. regulating zone T2 is extended to 2/3 in the roll 2. By improving the rolls 1, 2 as mentioned above, the material held by the grooves 12a is certainly held in a plasticizing mold gap 3 and kneading and cutting work can be certainly performed regardless of the hardness of the material.
