Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight sliding material capable of attaining both the improvement of the adhesion between each layer and the improvement of the strength of an adhered layer in a lamination type sliding material and excellent in wear resistance, fatigue resistance and seizure resistance.
SOLUTION: A back plate (steel) 1B and a surface sliding layer 1G composed of an aluminum series bearing alloy produced from a casting or an elongation material and contg. at least, by weight, 6 to 30% Sn, 0.5 to 2.0% Cu, 1 to 5% Si, 0.1 to 0.6%, Cr, and the balance substantial Al are laminated via an adhesive layer 1A composed of an aluminum series intermediate alloy contg. at least alone of Cu or in combination with Mg by 0.05 to 0.5%, furthermore contg. 0.1 to 0.6% Cr according to circumstances, and the balance substantial Al, which is subjected to strengthening treatment of executing heating at a temp. of 300 to 500°C and subsequently executing rapid cooling to 150°C at a cooling rate of ≥50°C per min.
