To upgrade a blocking resistance and to improve a light resistance of an image by incorporating a resin, a mold release agent and a specific glycerinfatty acid ester in a dye receiving layer.

The heated transfer sheet is constituted of a base material and a dye receiving layer formed on a surface of the material. A thermal transfer sheet containing a dye is superposed on the dye receiving layer side of the heated transfer sheet, and supplied to a thermal printer or the like. The receiving layer contains a glycerin fatty acid ester represented by the formula and a resin, (wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each a hydrogen atom or acyl group which may be the same or different, but all do not become the atoms.). Thus, the heated transfer sheet having excellent light resistance and blocking resistance and high reliability can be obtained.
