PURPOSE: To provide the subject readily detachable heater for preventing an NG temperature from dropping than a standard value, having excellent handleability, by immersing an NG header in a sea water pond and supplying sea water to the sea water pond to heat the NG header.
CONSTITUTION: An LNG supplied from an LNG header 1 is sent to an inner pipe 4 of a double pipe type heat transfer pipe 3, dropped, inverted at the lower end and is raised in an outer pipe 5. In the process, the LNG is vaporized by heating with sea water sprinkled from troughs 9 and 9a and the vaporized LNG is collected in an NG header 7 and sent to a superheater side. Further, the NG header 7 is immersed in a sea water pond 10, sea water is supplied to the sea water pond 10 and the NG header 7 is heated to provide the objective heater. Overflow holes of the sea water pond 10 are preferably arranged above troughs 9 and 9a.
