Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a heating furnace in which a ceramic fiber(CF) block is lined to reduce overall heat transfer (thermal capacity) of the furnace and a product damage is prevented at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: This heating furnace comprises a heating gas inlet 1, a heating gas exhaust port 2, and a steel plate feeding roll 3 to line a CF block 4 on the inner wall, wherein the block 4 is so controlled that the particle size of ceramic particles remaining therein is controlled to the size in which the particles are not freely precipitated under the operating conditions of the furnace.
