Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating resistor air flow rate measuring instrument which has high accuracy, high reliability, and high mountability at a low cost.
SOLUTION: A heating resistor air flow rate measuring instrument is composed of a flowmeter body 86 and a measuring section 87 and constituted by arranging the frame body section 31 of a housing 3 housing an electronic circuit 6 and an auxiliary passage member 4 holding a heating resistor 1, etc., in an auxiliary air passage on a platy metallic base 5 and respectively joining the frame body section 31 and metallic base 4 with the auxiliary passage member 4 and a cover 9 over different two members. Then the measuring section 87 in which the connector section 32 and frame body section 31 of the housing 3 and the auxiliary passage member 4 are formed in flat shapes is inserted into the flowmeter body 86 through an inserting hole 83 so as to position the heating resistor 1, etc., in a main air passage 81 and the fixing flange 36 of the housing 3 is attached to the flowmeter body 86.
