Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout of an engine and it's accessories of a power tiller preventing a rise of center of gravity of the tiller induced by a fuel tank, without giving any effects of the exhaust heat of an exhaust muffler to carburetor, fuel tank, belt drive system of the engine and a transmission.
SOLUTION: The engine 4 is placed on an engine bed 3, a belt driving system 17 connecting the engine and the transmission in a driving case 2 are placed in one side of the right and left side of the engine, the carburetor 20 and air cleaner 21 are placed adjoining to the rear side of the engine 4, the exhaust muffler 24 is placed adjoining to the front side of the engine 4, the fuel tank 22 and a fuel pump supplying fuel from this fuel tank 22 to the carburetor 20 are placed at the lower part of the carburetor 20 and air cleaner 21.
