Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely efficiently perform liquid removal and dry heating at the same time by sufficiently uniformly heating a substance containing low liquid content with a microwave under the reduced pressure of the level to be almost in no oxygen state without oxidizing the substance.
SOLUTION: This heating method of the substance containing low liquid content comprises heating the substance with the microwave under the reduced pressure. In a heating step to continuously or intermittently heat the substance with the microwave in such a state that the boiling point of the liquid contained in the substance is lowered, the reduced degree of pressure is adjusted so that a gas atmosphere in a pressure-reduced vessel is almost in no oxygen state, the amount of the substance to be loaded in the pressure-reduced vessel and the output of the microwave corresponding to the loss coefficient of the microwave owing to the substance are set and adjusted and then the substance is heated so that electric discharge of the microwave does not occur during the heating.
