Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of card data recorded on the card.
SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a head main body 5 for reading out the information magnetically recorded on the card 1 and outputting the read out signal, a control part 7 for converting the read out signal outputted from the head main body into a digital signal and ciphering this converted digital signal with a uni-directional function to send it to the outside through a half duplex bi-directional signal line and also fetching the control information from the outside through the half duplex bi-directional signal line, and a head container 4 for housing at least, the head main body 5 and the control part 7.
