To provide a control method capable of reducing electric energy consumption of a vending machine without causing dew condensation on an external evaporator of a heating system.
The vending machine is provided with the heating system provided with a dew condensation sensor 21, carrying out control of raising a temperature of the external evaporator 13 such as increasing an air capacity of an evaporator fan 22, turning on an evaporator heater 23, and lowering a rotational frequency of a compressor 10 when dew condensation is detected for a certain time by the dew condensation sensor 21, and compensating a lowered amount of heating capacity by an internal heater 18 installed in an interior by the control. By this, since the heating system can be effectively operated without lowering the heating capacity of the heating system and causing dew condensation on the external evaporator, and the heating system can be operated as much as possible even in a condition of high outside air temperature excluding a condition of high humidity such as in rainy weather, electric energy consumption due to heating of the vending machine can be extensively reduced.
