To provide a height adjusting device of a railroad vehicle precisely transmitting the movement of a vehicle height detecting lever to an angle sensor.
The height adjusting device 1 adjusts the height of a vehicle body by supplying and discharging pressurized air to/from an air spring, and transmits the movement of the vehicle height detecting lever 71 to the angle sensor 70. The height adjusting device comprises a rotor 30 converting the rotation of the vehicle height detecting lever 71 into the reciprocation of a piston 4, a rod 40 transmitting the rotation of the rotor 30 to the angle sensor 70, a rotor radial bearing 21 rotatably supporting the rotor 30 to a casing (a cover 20), and a rod radial bearing 22 rotatably supporting the rod 40 to a casing (a body 10). The rotor 30 and the rod 40 are supported by the rotor radial bearing 21 and the rod radial bearing 22 at both ends.
