To provide a helmet shied-attaching structure whose shield can easily and surely be opened or closed and attached or detached without deteriorating the appearance of the helmet.

This helmet shield-attaching structure in which a face portion 3 is rotatably and detachably attached to both the side attaching portions 5 of a helmet body 2 is characterized by disposing a shaft member 8 on either of the shield 4 and the helmet body in the attaching portion 5, also disposing the first rotation guide 9 capable of fit onto the shaft member 8 on the other, disposing a flange member 14 on either of the shaft member and the first rotation guide, also disposing hook pieces 21, 22 for hooking the flange pieces on the other, forming an attaching or detaching guide 10 for attaching or detaching to the helmet body, and disposing a stopper projection 23 for engaging with the flange member to hold the shaft member in the first rotation guide 9. Thus, the shield can be detached from the helmet body by pushing the rotation center of the attaching portion from the outside of the shield.
