To provide a pattern woven fabric which does not protrude multi-colored patterns on the surface, is a flat thin woven fabric like a jeans cloth, and delicately and realistically displays the gorgeousness of a Gobelin tapestry pattern.

This pattern woven fabric is a multi-colored double woven fabric. The ground weave 2 is formed in a double hollow weave whose upper ground weave is a plain weave comprising five count colored warps and four count colored warps in an alternate state and one count colored wefts and whose lower ground weave is a plain weave comprising one count colored warps and three count colored warps in a paralleled state and two count colored wefts. The warps and wefts of the upper and lower ground weaves are desirably exposed on the ground weave to form many multi-colored patterns 5 comprising a combination of different weaves. The lower weave of the multi-colored pattern 5 is formed from the warps and the wefts not used for the multi-colored pattern 5 in the same weave as the ground weave. Different pattern weaves are combined in a range of 2 to 10 kinds to form a plurality of the multi-colored patterns 5 having different shapes.
