SOLUTION: The hermetically sealed compressor (1) of this invention is relating to the hermetically sealed compressor (1) that is fixed in the casing (6) in the condition which a scroll type compression mechanism (2) and also an electric motor (3) touch with the inside of the casing (6). A contact portion (20, 21) where the above scroll type compression mechanisms (2) or the electric motor (3) in contact with the casing (6) and a non-contact portion (30, 31) where the above scroll type compression mechanisms (2) or electric motor (3) be in contact with the casing (6) are formed in the plane where crosses with a longitudinal direction of the above casing (6) at right angles, and the perimeter of the non-contact portion (30) with regard to the above scroll type compression mechanisms (2) and the perimeter of the non-contact portion (31) with regard to the above electric motors (3) are different from each other.
