Title:
HEXA-(P-AMINOPHENOXY OR P-AMINOPHENYLTHIO) BENZENE, CHARGE TRANSPORT MATERIAL AND PHOTOCONDUCTIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000072726
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a new compound useful for applications such as photoconductive materials preferably used for a charge transport material having a high charge mobility and an electrophotography requiring high speed properties.

This compound is represented by the formula (X1 to X6 are each O or S; R1 to R12 are each H, a 1-20c alkyl, a 2-20C alkenyl, a 6-20C aryl or the like; R1 and R2, R3 and R4, R5 and R6, R7 and R8, R9 and R10 or R11 and R12 are bound to from a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring; R13 to R18 are each a halogen, a 1-40C alkyl or the like; n1 to n6 are each 0-4), e.g. hexakis [p-(N,N-dibutylamino)phenoxy] benzene. The compound represented by the formula is produced by dissolving, e.g. p-aminophenol and potassium carbonate in dimethylacetamide, then adding iodobutane, dissolving the resultant p-N,N-dibutylaminophenol and potassium carbonate in 1,3-dimethyl-2- imidazolidinone and subsequently adding hexafluorobenzene thereto.
