Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high chromium steel excellent in corrosion resistance with securing processability and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The high chromium steel contains Cr of 25 to 99 mass%, O of 0.0001 to 1 mass%, inevitable impurities excluding O of 0.05 mass% or less and the balance Fe. The manufacturing method thereof has a process accommodating powders 11 containing Cr of 25 to 99 mass% with suppression of percentage content of O of 1 mass% or less and percentage content of inevitable impurities excluding O of 0.05 mass% or less and the balance Fe in a container 10, a process for dissolving the powders 11 with remaining a part contacting the container 10 and a process for solidifying a dissolved part of the powders 11 to obtain high chromium steel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
