Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and remove not only foreign materials mixed in corn having large specific gravity such as a pebble, a piece of metal, a glass fragment and the like but also coarse particles having small specific gravity such as a straw piece, dust, bran and the like and enable a long hours continuous operation.
SOLUTION: Two sets of stone removal machines E1 are set up together on a base 1. An equally dividing apparatus E2 is set up on each hopper 4 installed on a top plate 3 of the two stone removal machines E1 which can freely open and shut. The apparatus E2 serves as a fanning mill to separate and remove the coarse particles mixed in corn as well as acts as a feeder to divide corn after removal of the coarse particles into two flows to be supplied to each hopper 4 of the two machines E1. Corn fed to an inlet 31 of the main body 30 of the apparatus E2 goes to a wind selection part in the main body 30 for separation and removal of the coarse particles and is supplied to each hopper 4 of the machines E1 through a bifurcate chute 32a and 32b for separation and removal of the foreign materials.
