Title:
HIGH-FREQUENCY HEATING POLE PLATE FOR WOOD AND METHOD FOR DRYING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11223460
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To suppress the uneven heating or drop of energy efficiency when a clearance is formed to promote transpiration among piled woods and to improve workability of piling work of wood, etc., concerning a method for drying wood through high-frequency heating and a pole plate.

While using a high-frequency heating pole plate 1 formed of conductive metallic plate which is bent as to have an uneven cross-sectional shape having a number of upper contact surfaces 4 and lower contact surfaces 5 with a clearance in between in the surface orthogonal direction, woods 9 are arranged multilayered between the heating pole plates 1 in a direction where the lengthwise direction of the wood 9 crosses that of the heating pole plate 1, and a high-frequency voltage is applied to the multilayered heating pole plates 1 alternately or alternately every other element. Since a clearance is formed between the pole plate and wood because of the uneven cross-sectional shape of the pole plate 1 and the contact surfaces 4 and 5 are in face-contact with the woods 9, the drop of energy efficiency can be prevented. A difference of temperature on the surface of wood during drying between a part in contact with the contact surfaces 4 and 5 and a part not in contact therewith is much smaller than that in the case where a sticker is interposed.
