To realize a thin high-frequency transformer, which is capable of withstanding a large current by laminating a required number of disc coils formed of metal plate conductor and insulating sheets into a coil with a required number of turns of the formation of a high-frequency large current transformer, whose coil has improved conductor space factor in cross section.
Metal disk coils 1 to 6 are provided with windows 1a to 6a at their centers respectively, slits 1b to 6b are provided to the peripheral edges of the disc coils 1 to 6, and winding start terminals 1c to 6c and winding end terminals 1d to 6d are provided to the disc coils 1 to 6 on the sides of the slits 1b to 6b. The metal coils 1 to 6 and insulating sheets 7 to 17 with windows 7a to 17a at their centers are laminated in the required manner, some of the disc coils are connected in series to form a high-voltage coil, the remaining disc coils are connected in parallel to form a low-voltage coil, and E-shaped high-frequency magnetic cores 18 and 19 are interlinked with the high-voltage coil and the low-voltage coil.
