To provide a transformer, which is improved in productivity and made to have a higher heat dissipating effect by forming a heat dissipating space inside a coil, without having to use a heat-dissipating space-forming member.
A transformer is equipped with a transformer body 1, composed of an iron core and a coil 2 wound on the iron core, and rugged parts 4 and 6 are provided to the coil 2, so as to provide heat dissipating spaces 3 inside the wound coil 2. The heat-dissipating spaces 3 can be formed easily inside the coil 2 of the transformer body 1, dispensing with excess materials and operations, when a heat-dissipating space is provided. A heat-dissipating space forming member is not required, so that the coil can be reduced in cross-sectional area, and the transformer is set lower in material cost than usual, with a simpler constitution, is improved in productivity, for short delivery.
