Coil series lines SL1 and SL2 each are composed of plural coil elements whose winding axes intersect the direction of high frequency signal transmission at right angles. The plural coil elements constituting the coil series lines SL1 and SL2 constitute a closed loop of magnetic flux with their coil elements adjacent to each other in order of series connection. Also, the winding axes of two coil elements consisting of a coil element of the coil series line SL1 and that of the coil series line SL2 as a pair match each other, and magnetic fluxes in directions opposite to each other develop along the winding axes. As a result, the magnetic fields occurring in each coil element are in a confined state while a high frequency signal is propagated, so that a low-loss high frequency transmission line can be realized.
