CONSTITUTION: This display device 100 is provided with a case 120, which consists of reflection wall to enclose light and has panels 106 and 108 provided with many holes on at least one face, and many light emitting elements 106 which have both ends formed to cylinders like convex face bodies and are attached to holes 111 of the panels 106 and 108 so as to have first end parts 206 projected to the outside of the case 102 and to have main bodies 202 and second end parts 204 stored in the case 102, and are activated by reception of light to emit visible light. Light made incident on the second end parts 204 of light emitting elements is converged on the first end parts 206 while being repeatedly reflected in elements, and visible light of high brightness is emitted from them.
