Abstract:
To provide a high pressure fuel pump capable of suppressing abrasion wear due to relative rotation of a movable core and a rod.SOLUTION: The high pressure fuel pump includes a valve element, the rod for driving the valve element, a fixed core for generating magnetic force, the movable core formed separately from the rod and adapted to be sucked into the fixed core to drive the rod, a first spring for energizing the rod toward the valve element, and a second spring for energizing the movable core in the opposite direction to the energizing direction of the first spring. A rotation direction when the first spring elongates is the same as a rotation direction when the second spring elongates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
