Abstract:
PURPOSE: To cool an injection nozzle effectively while quickly filling a pump work chamber as well as keeping high intrinsic safety of the injection pump for an electrically controlled pump.
CONSTITUTION: According to a fuel injection device for internal combustion engine and a method for the fuel injection, an additional control element 11 for controlling a direct fuel delivery path 10 into a pump work chamber 1 is provided between the pump work chamber 1 and a pressure chamber 7 of injection nozzle 3, and position of the control element is controlled in connection to the pressure in the pump work chamber 1.
