Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to reduce the volume of sludge by solubilizing the sludge, to shorten the time required for biological oxidation of the solid content of the sludge as far as possible and to decrease the amt. of the excessive sludge as far as possible.

CONSTITUTION: This treating device is composed of a high temp. solubilizing tank 12 for solubilizing the raw sludge 11 from a raw sludge storage tank 10 under a high temp. condition, a middle temp. digestion treating tank 14 for subjecting the sludge solubilized in the high temp. solubilizing tank 12 to a biological digestion treatment under a middle temp. condition and a high temp. resolubilizing tank 16 for resolubilizing the sludge digested by the middle temp. digestion treating tank 14 to a resolubilizing treatment under a high temp. condition.
