Title:
HIGH TEMPERATURE SEPARATION OF CARBON DIOXIDE WITH TALC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2708091
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To separate and recove specific gaseous components at a high temp. as it is from a high temp. waste combustion gas by adsorbing the specific gaseous component in the waste combustion gas on an inorganic solid material exhibiting surface basicity and selectively separating each gaseous components by the time difference of adsorption and desorption.
CONSTITUTION: The specific gaseous components are adsorbed on talc by passing the waste combustion gas at a high temp. as it is or setted in the specific temp. range of 100-800°C (preferably 600-700°C) through the adsorbent containing the inorganic solid material such as talc, heated at 300-800°C and exhibiting the surface basicity, to separate the specific waste gas components such as carbon dioxide from the high temp. waste combustion gas. And, each specific gaseous component is removed by utilizing the difference of the time necessary for passing the specific gaseous component through the adsorbent while repeating the adsorption and desorption. As the result, the specific gaseous components such as carbon dioxide in the waste gas discharged as the high temp. waste combustion gas are separated and recovered at the high temp. as it is without cooling.
