Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive magnesium alloy in which Mg2Si as an eutectic compound and a primary crystal compound is miniaturized and granulated, and which has excellent toughness as well as excellent heat resistance.
The magnesium alloy contains, by weight, 0.1 to 5% Si and >0.2 to 0.5% Sr as well.
