Abstract:
To provide a method of selectively and efficiently recovering only gold from a solution including gold dispensing with replenishment of an extraction agent to an organic phase, and recovery from an aqueous phase.SOLUTION: A compound represented by the following general formula (I) is provided, in the above formula, R1 is H, or R4R5 N-(CO)-; R2, R3, R4, and R5 are each independently a 1-8C aliphatic hydrocarbon group, or a ≥6C aromatic hydrocarbon group; and x is an integer of 1-8, y is an integer of 2-8, and z is an integer of 1-8. Gold can be selectively extracted from an acidic solution by using the compound as an extraction agent. The compound can efficiently extract gold by a concentration lower than that of dibutyl carbitol, increase hydrophobicity by introducing hydrophobic groups to R2-R5, and the extraction agent does not dissolve to an aqueous phase side in an extraction process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
