Abstract:
To obtain a magnesium alloy that has excellent heat conductivity sufficient to substitute as an aluminum alloy and has excellent elongation and castability.SOLUTION: A magnesium alloy is produced that contains Zn of 0.1 mass% or more and 12.5 mass% or less, Ca of 0.1 mass% or more and 4.0 mass% or less, RE (rare earth element) of 0.1 mass% or more and 4.0 mass% or less, with the balance being Mg and unavoidable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: None
