Title:
HIGHLY MOISTURE-PERMEABLE POLYESTER FILM, LAMINATE, AND THEIR PRODUCTION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005097427
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a polyester elastomer film of which the neck in, edge shaking, and width variation of a molten resin film are small even when the film is formed at a high speed and which has water resistance and waterproofness, though having high water permeability; a laminate thereof; and their production methods.

A molten resin film formed by joining an olefin resin to both the edges of a melt mixture comprising a polyester elastomer prepared from an acid component mainly comprising an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and a polyether glycol component as a glycol component and the olefin resin, in a ratio (by wt.%) of the polyester elastomer to the olefin resin of 75/25-99/1, is solidified by cooling; then, both the edges are cut and removed, giving the highly moisture-permeable polyester film. The functional group concentration in the olefin resin is 200-2,000 equivalents/ton. The laminate is produced by extrusion lamination of the highly moisture-permeable polyester film onto a sheet-like substrate. The production methods of the film and the laminate are also provided.
