Abstract:

To provide a refractory heat-insulating material excellent in heat resistance, slag resistance, molten iron resistance, wear resistance and mechanical impact resistance.

This highly serviceable heat-insulating material is characterized by having a thermal spraying refractory ceramic film via a surface curing material coating film on the surface of inorganic heat-insulating fibers furnished with a cloth material, or the surface of inorganic heat-insulating fibers having been furnished with a cloth material until it is burned and gone by the flame spraying of a refractory ceramic powdery material during the process for producing the heat-insulating material.
