Abstract:
To provide a highly setting resistant and highly fatigue resistant coil spring having high fatigue strength while securing high permanent setting resistance under high load stress.
The highly setting resistant and highly fatigue resistant coil spring using a spring steel wire has a nitrided layer depth of 20μm-50μm, an internal hardness (Vickers hardness) of HV540 or higher as well as a surface roughness Rmax of 15μm or less and a degree of steepness of 0.02 or lower. Thus, the coil spring is obtained with longer life and less setting.
