Abstract:
To provide a hinge device specially designed for a cover to cover a convertible roof storage room in a vehicle.
A hinge device 3 is to swing and support a cover 2 to cover a convertible roof storage room in a vehicle 1. The hinge device 3 contains a first hinge element 8 fixed to the cover 2 and a second hinge element 9 fixed to the vehicle 1. The hinge elements 8, 9 are arranged around a co-axis 10 in a rotatable manner and the co-axis 10 is arranged at substantially the same level as or upward of a plane defined by the cover 2.
