PURPOSE: To protect a member to couple and support through relation of rotation operation of a rotating support part with rotational movement operation of the rotational movement support part, in a hinge mechanism formed in such a manner that a rotating support part and the rotatable support part are combined together.

CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft 47 and a rotational movement shaft 23 are arranged in such a manner to cross each other at right angles. A rotating support part to effect rotation around a rotary shaft and a rotational movement support part to effect rotational movement of centering around a rotational movement shaft are combined together. The rotating support part is rotatably supported on the rotational movement support part and a member 3 to be supported is rotatably supported on the rotating support part. A rotational movement regulating means is provided to lock the rotational movement support part so that the rotational movement support part is prevented from being rotatable except a time when a member to be supported is present in a pre-specified given position.
