To provide a light-weighted, simply structured, simply assembled and cost-reduced hinge for temples of spectacles which has a click stop function whose secular change is reduced and develops friction torque at the same time.
The hinge for temples for spectacles includes: a lower case member 7 having a case body 7a formed with a plurality of recesses with predetermined intervals at an inner bottom part 7b and an axial part 7d erected from the axial direction of a central part of the case body 7a; an upper case member 8 formed with a through-hole 8a at the upper part, and configured such that the axial part 7d is inserted into and engaged with the through-hole 8a so as to be rotatable; a follower 9 engaged in the upper case member 8, and configured such that the axial part 7d is inserted into an insertion hole 9a disposed in the axial direction of the central part; a plurality of balls 10 engaged with the follower 9, and configured so as to be butted to the inner bottom part 7b of the lower case member 7; and elastic means 11 elastically configured such that the axial part 7d is inserted between the follower 9 and the upper case member 8.
