Title:
HOLDING PLATE FOR ROTATING CENTER FOR POTTERY OR THE LIKE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002067017
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To quickly and firmly fix a molding body, which is attached to a rotating plate of a lathe and used when a piece of work is molded in the pottery, to a center and a prescribed location.

There is provided a centering plate which can perform the centering of the molding body of an optional size by an extremely simple operation by moving one piece regardless of the clockwise rotation or the counterclockwise rotation. Also, on a disk-shape holder having a mechanism which has three radial grooves, 1 indicates a circumscribed pulley, 2 indicates an internal circumscribed pulley, and 4 indicates a point to fix the piece 3 on a wire. The piece 3 can move in a groove 8 in the radial direction. However, three pieces are fixed at locations which are away by an equal distance from the internal pulley of the wire on one side in the groove. Therefore, the three pieces perform totally the same movement, and hold and fix an article while drawing a concentric circle.
