PURPOSE: To provide a holding sheet for a data recording carrier having an index piece capable of simply searching the data recording carrier such as a floppy disk, easy to produce because a mold may be moved only in one direction at the time of injection molding and suitable for mass production.

CONSTITUTION: The binding flap 2 having a plurality of binding holes 2a provided to one side edge of a holding sheet 1, a plurality of the data recording carrier housing rectangular cavities 3 formed to the holding sheet and the data recording carrier holding pieces 4 provided so as to protrude from the side walls of the rectangular cavities 3 to the inside of them are provided and index pieces 6 are provided to the bottom walls 3a of the rectangular cavities 3 in a detachable manner and the insertion grooves 7 for attaching the detached index pieces 6 are formed to the other side edge of the holding sheet 1. The attaching projections 1a of the engaging jigs 9 for hanging the holding sheet 1 are formed in the vicinity of both ends of the insertion grooves and the holding projections 3d for holding the engaging jigs 9 are formed to the rear surfaces of the bottom walls of the rectangular cavities 3.
