Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a lower capacitance of 60pF/m or less and to attain sufficiently exceptional mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A hollow core body 101 is provided with an inner conductor 1, a first insulation covered body 2, and a second insulation covered body 3. The first insulation covered body 2 has first gaps G1 surrounded by a first inner ring portion 2a, first rib portions 2b and a first outer ring portion 2c. The second insulation covered body 3 has second gaps G2 surrounded by a second inner ring portion 3a, second rib portions 3b and a second outer ring portion 3c. The minimum thickness of the second inner ring portion 3a, the second rib portions 3b, and the second outer ring portion 3c is greater than the maximum thickness of the first inner ring portion 2a, the first rib portions 2b, and the first outer ring portion 2c. By this configuration, the present invention can handle high-speed and high-capacity signal transmission and remain unsusceptible to deterioration in characteristics even when many cores are twisted together or bent.
