Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow stabilizer which is the lightest in weight by optimizing allowable stress and durability at each part.SOLUTION: This hollow stabilizer 1 has hollow-shaped bent parts 1c1, 1c2, and m1 to m5. Inside thicknesses of the bent parts 1c1, 1c2, and m1 to m5 and outside thicknesses of the bent parts 1c1, 1c2, and m1 to m5 are set so that the inside durability of the bent parts 1c1, 1c2, and m1 to m5 and the outside durability of the bent parts 1c1, 1c2, and m1 to m5 become substantially the same by applying quenching to the bent parts by heating by energization heating and cooling.
