Abstract:
To provide a hollow structure capable of achieving weight saving and improving productivity, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A hollow structure comprises a hollow metallic component that has an expansion part that protrudes in a first direction crossing an axial direction, and a metallic member that has a part to be fitted with the expansion part. The part to be fitted is provided with a regulation structure for regulating relative displacement of the metallic member and the hollow metallic component. The expansion part, which assumes a shape along the part to be fitted, is latched to the regulation structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
